Spearmint is mainly native to the Mediterranean and is a perennial herb. It has lance-shaped leaves with pink or lavender flowers. Spearmint essential oil is light yellow to slightly green, has a sweet fragrance, has a fresh mint aroma, and is mild and not pungent.
